Additional Anthroposophical Viewpoint:

Rudolf Steiner recommended Teucrium for a variety of conditions especially for irregular menses, heavy period bleeding and other painful body symptoms generally associated with pelvic “stagnation”. Some of these complaints were headache, faintness, respiratory problems, nervousness, leg swelling and more. He saw the effect of Teucrium as freeing the astral body from the lower organs and sending it towards the upper body, the head, and so on.

The most important indication is however that in both women and men(!) teucrium generally works in such a way that it is as though it would create a new organization of the pelvic organs in that lower body area! Clearly a strengthening and rejuvenation of the etheric organs of that region is implied.

After taking this remedy one should feel in one’s forehead area (head area) a refreshed sensation “like when going through a forest one senses the aroma of fresh moss” (R. Steiner).
